I’ve been hooked on romance novels since I stumbled upon my first Johanna Lindsey bodice ripper. I love romantasy, historicals, romcoms, sci-fi, and monster smut.

Inspiration is everywhere, but I’m especially drawn to fairytales and 80s fantasy movies. I try to bring darkness and whimsy to my books, plus a dash of real-life logistics. I’m fascinated by the traumatic implications of children’s stories. What kind of mark would captivity with a child-eating witch leave on someone? If a houseful of people were transformed into furniture, would they be so…cheerful? How would growing up in an isolated tower affect a young woman’s relationships?

Besides reading and writing, I love cats, cooking, travel, true crime, scary movies, vintage clothing, the beach, and the Green Bay Packers. I live in Chicago with my husband and two entitled tuxedo cats.
